Lafayette Spring/Summer 2012
I guess one of the best way to describe the japanese clothing brand Lafayette is the song they use in they video Lookbook for Spring and Summer 2012: A hip-hop track using Metronomy as sample. Started in 2003, the japanese brand with its T-shirt had as goal to get a feel of NYC urban culture. As a lot of brand borrow from the U.S. culture trying to make us believe it is the only urban culture possible, it feels fresh and good to hear someone actually aware of its direction. The result is attracting and stylish, have a look.
