A remark you made- Weather Report

We are around the end of the 70’s, the long long party that was the 60’s and more has turned into an after party. By then bad habits have became lifestyles, as babes & pimps are still dancing to the sound of reggae, funk and soul, somewhere down in New York, Drugged up hard working jazz musicians are looking for an after party music that could sweep away the blues.

We are in  1977 , Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter and Alex Acuna have just welcomed bass player Jaco Pastorius. Under the impulse of an over creative Joe Zawinul as leader, Weather Report is going to make the album that is going to crystalize the search and the era: Heavy Weather. Of course they are books to written about the music, the relationship of each band member to one another, but what we wanted at Sparks, was to simply share a track of this album: A Remark you made, which is for the jazz fusion ballad of the 70’s. So plug your headphones, and dive with us.
