Ice Jacket by Stone Island

Founded in 1982 in Italy, when the brand CP Company acquired an industrial fabric that took on tow different colors when dipped in dye, Stone Island, named after a book that the lead designer Massimo Osti was reading, has somehow found his public amongst football fan in the United Kingdom specially the Hooligan (I know it’s sounds so dangerous, but it’s only a jacket don’t worry).

The goal Massimo Otsi who tragically died in 2005 was the same than most of the industrial design world: How to make it designed, here wearable when it is not… how to mix the primary function with the world of fashion. With an intriguing video presentation, the brand has found his way, and somehow fits today in the a fashion world asking for more colors than it used to… what do you think ?
